100 Best Movie Soundtracks of All Time (2020) Classic Great Music

What are the best movie soundtracks? Music is an integral part of movies. It is subtle in non-musical films but it is a primary theme of musicals.Almost every film released today have its own soundtrack CD released too. The soundtrack CD may include songs (pop songs or original songs) that were used in the film or otherwise would include score (background music) that was originally composed for the film.

It is interesting to note that hundreds of film found commercial success just because they had good music and songs. In fact many film industries (like Bollywood) produce hundreds of films every year that have 5 to 6 original songs in them. Even Hollywood have many examples of films that were hit only because of music. Artists like Daft Punk, Bee Gees and Curtis mayfield became popular because of their music collaboration in popular films. Also composers like John Williams, James Horner, Hans Zimmer and John Barry became legends after they composed evergreen soundtracks of blockbuster films. In fact they were praised by many critics for taking the films to another level with their background score.

We have here compiled a list of some of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time. Although most of the movies listed here had original songs and score of their own but you may also found movies that used pop songs in their soundtrack and were hit at box office.
