The popular Shijo manga Series Maid Sama was adapted for Anime TV show in 2010. The first season aired 27 episodes and met critical acclaim. Ever since then fans are hoping that JC Staff studios or Sentai Filmworks would renew the TV series but to no avail.
After waiting for a decade Fans decided to draft an online petition for the renewal of the series. After all everyone is hoping for a good anime series in the lockdown era.
There are some inside rumors that Sentai Filmworks is considering to renew the series after a decade. In fact, the lockdown has forced studio to relaunch many of their popular anime series. Maid sama is one among them.
If rumors are to be believed then Maid Sama might get an official release date by the end of this year.
