Cooper’s Treasure has a unique premise. An Astronaut in the 1960s note some anomalies in the oceans of our planet and map them out. Those anomalies indicate a treasure hiding in plain sight. Years later, his friend decides to find the treasure using that map.
On paper, the concept looks unique and intriguing. However, Discovery channel failed to pull of the series perfectly. The first two season received mixed reviews from critics and users. Therefore Discovery abandoned the idea of a third season. But due to recent online petitions Discovery has decided to bring the series back to life.

This question has no definite answer as discovery channel executives commented that a lot of the things are yet to covered before moving on. They didn’t gave an exact release date but promised that a third season is inevitable.
