Top Films of 2007
Overall 2007 was a very successful year for the box office. Though there was not any record breaking film released in the year 2007 but the overall collective performance of the films released in the year 2007 was way above satisfactory. In fact the year was a golden year for many film studios. Harry potter film continued to dominated the box office in the 7th consecutive year. In 2007, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix was the second highest grossing film of the year. The third film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series At World’s End was the highest grossing film of the year. Also the third and final film in the Spiderman trilogy released in 2007. It met with mixed reviews and great blockbuster performance at box office.
Interestingly one of the highest grossing film of 2007 was The Simpsons Movie based on the popular animated TV series of same name. However one of the most buzzed film of the year was Michael Bay’s Transformers. Michael successfully transformed a dying toy line of 80s in a highly successful film.
