What are the best anime movies? You would be surprised to know that the term anime and animation has two distinct meanings in film industry. While the term animation could be applied to all the computer animated art forms (like movies) or hand drawn art form (like comics), Anime on the other hand is strictly applied to animated art form originating from Japan. Interestingly Japanese use the word anime for all the animated art forms but rest of the world apply the world anime only to Japanese animated films or books.
Japanese animated movies surely deserve to be called with a distinct word as Japan is known for making distinct anime characters and stories. Normally in an animated film, production houses focuses more on computer gateway interface (CGI) technology, Japanese animated studio focus more on camera movement on expression of anime characters. One can easily distinguish between a Japanese anime character and an animated character from other art forms. Japanese anime films usually have very expressive characters with bigger dreamy eyes, cute looking face and almost perfect hairstyles.
