What are the best 80s tv shows? If i have to rate all the decades in terms of their performance in films and box office i would rate 80s decade the best. Though 80s decade were not best in terms of TV shows and series but lets not forget that it was the 80s decade that paved way for the golden 90s decade which saw many great TV shows. Unlike previous decades which focused on drama and tragedy tv shows, the 80s stepped out and entered into the action genre. There were many TV shows that focused on the action, adventure and more specifically the spy genre. Who could forget that it was the 80s TV show 21 Jump Street that made career of iconic actor Johnny Depp. Not just Johnny Depp but Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise and Bruce willis too appeared in several TV shows from the 80s.
