Oscar Winner Christoph Waltz May Play Villain In James Bond 24

Director Sam Mendes is all set to begin the shooting of 24th James Bond film. The casting of ‘James Bond 24’ (No official title is announced as of now) is almost complete and the latest to join the cast is the two times Oscar Winner Christoph Waltz.

As soon as the news of Christoph Waltz joining James Bond 24 broke out, many are speculating that he might play the primary antagonist of the film. Christoph Waltz is known for playing fan favorite villains and untrustworthy characters. He even Bagged Academy award for Best Supporting actor for such roles. Both of his Oscars came for Quentin Tarantino film. Earlier it was expected that the duo will return for Tarantino’s next anticipated project ‘Hateful Eight’. But now its clear that Christoph has decided to quit from the western film and instead focus on the popular James Bond series.

The title and Plot of James Bond 24 is yet to be announced but Daniel Craig has hinted in an interview that it will more of a personal payback of James Bond film than a mission film. Now that Christoph has joined the cast then it may be deduced that he will once again portray an untrustworthy character.

James Bond 24 will have recurring characters of M (which is now played by Ralph Fiennes), Miss Moneypenny (Being played the beautiful Naomie Harris), the scientist/wizard Q (played by Ben Winshaw) and Bill Tanner (played by Rory Kinnear). Sam Mendes has also signed up Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista for the film. Lea is known for playing the role of Emma in 2013 French film Blue is the Warmest Colour.
