A Sequel is not easy to make. You have to repeat the success of original film while keeping the magic of original fresh and admirable. Most sequels are based on overly done scripts and unnecessary plots inspired from the original film. However, This was not the case in Dabangg 2. As soon as Dabangg become a Blockbuster it was announces that a sequel will be made. However things were not that easy.
Plot: The film begins few months after the events of Dabangg. Chulbul pandey is now a famous and respected cop.He is transferred to Kanpur, where he lives with his brother Makhi, Father Prajapati and wife Rajjo. The Chronicles of Chulbul Pandey continues in the new city and he soon makes new enemy Bachcha Singh an aspiring politician who is also running illegal operations carried out by his goons.
The Good: Once Again Salman Khan
Salman Khan was able to keep up the hopes of people and pride of Chulbul Pandey once again in the sequel. While most of the sequels works too much on the already famous character. Dabanng 2 was not the case. Equally focus is kept on the plot and other characters. This is a plus point of Dabangg 2.
The Bad: Villain
Prakash Raj can play more evil, villainous role than the one offered to him in Dabangg 2. A Hero is incomplete without a villain. All the focus of attention was given to Salman khan’s Chulbul Pandey. Chedi singh was far better than Bacha Singh.
Should I Watch It?: Yes, You will enjoy it.
