3 Bollywood Movies Releasing this Friday (6 January 2017)

2016 ended with a bang for Bollywood. It was not successful as 2015 but Aamir Khan’s Dangal proed that Bollywood will see better days in future. Now that 2016 has ended we look forward to hindi movies releasing in 2017 and the first week of 2017 bring us some promising movies that can start a new style of comedy and talent if they get successful. We take a look at the Bollywood films releasing this Friday i.e. 6 January 2017 –
1. Coffee With D
The most advertised film releasing this Friday is Coffee with D. If you have seen the trailer of the film then I bet you surely loved it until the part when Anu Malik’s voice enters your ears. Coffee with D stars comedian Sunil Grover in lead role along with Anjana Sukhani and Zakir hussain. The trailer of the film was appreciated by critics and fans and if this film gets successful then it will kick start the career of Sunil Grover. Even though Sunil Grover has gained cult fan following through Kapil Sharma show but it has one big challenge and that is DANGAL. Aamir Khan’s Dangal is having a phenomenal run at box office and each passing day the movie is doing business that most films fail to do on opening day. Dangal is heading to 300 Crore club and it might enter the club this week. The only positive thing for Coffee with D is that it is not facing competition with any other film. Coffee with D is likely to do a business of 5 to 10 crore in opening weekend. The film follows the story of a popular anchor (likely based on Arnab Goswami) who goes to Pakistan to take interview of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.

2. Carry on Kesar –
Another Bollywood film that is going to release on 6 January 2017 is Carry on Kesar. Sunil Grover’s Coffee with D will see an All India release as it will be released approx. 1000 screens. Carry On Kesar will see a limited release and it will be released in Gujarat and some parts of NCR. The film stars Supriya Pathak and Darshan Jariwala in lead roles. This film is about an elderly childless couple that decide to have a child in their 60s.

3. Sardaar Saab
Punjabi film Sardaar saab will also be released on 6 January 2017. The film stars Jackie shroff and Juhi Chawla in lead roles and it is produced by Mika singh. Not much is known about this film but audience that love Punjabi movies have good expectations from Sardaar Saab. The film is expected to do good business in North India.
